Registry

 Registry

The ACT’s Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme is supported by the NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme Registry, which is maintained by the Scheme Administrator (External Link), IPART. The registry provides details of accredited abatement certificate providers and the ownership and status of abatement certificates at any point in time.

Work has been undertaken to upgrade the registry to fully integrate the ACT Scheme into the Registry. Now the Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme Registry functions as the Registry for the NSW and ACT Schemes. ACT benchmark participants should surrender their NGACs in the ACT section of the Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme Registry.

An overview of the GGAS Registry (www.ggas-registry.nsw.gov.au [External Link] ) and a Fact Sheet (External Link)containing more specific information on the content of the registry can be found at the guest NSW GGAS website. The Registry can be accessed through a Registered GGAS Participant Login or as a quest login.
