Review of the Retail Electricity Form of Price Control

The Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission is currently undertaking a review of the form of control it uses to regulate prices for the supply of electricity to small customers on ActewAGL's regulated tariffs. This review seeks to ensure that the Commission's form of price control remains effective and appropriate, recognising changes occurring in electricity markets.

The review was established as a reset principle in the Commission's 2020-24 Price Direction for standing offer prices for the supply of electricity to small customers.
