On Thursday 12 December 2019 the Commission released its Final Decision on the Consumer Protection Code Review.
On Wednesday 4 December 2019, the Commission released an Issues Paper for its review of the incentives Icon Water has to operate efficiently in delivering regulated water and sewerage services. The Commission is inviting submissions until Friday 28 February 2020.
On Monday, 2 September 2019, the Commission released an issues paper outlining its approach to the 2020-24 electricity price investigation. Submissions on the issues paper close on Friday, 11 October 2019. A copy of the issues paper and media release is available here.

On Friday 23 August 2019, the Commission released its draft decision on the Consumer Protection Code review, together with a draft Code. A public forum on the draft decision and draft Code will be held on Wednesday, 11 September. The closing date for submissions is Friday, 25 October 2019.
On 30 July 2019 the Treasurer presented the Commission’s Final Report on the investigation to the ACT Legislative Assembly.
The Commission has approved an update to the Precinct Map effective 1 July 2019. Under the Code, no further additions can be made to the Precinct Map until 1 July 2020.

On Thursday 13 June 2019, the Commission released its Monitoring Report on the 2017-18 Utility Licence Annual Reports. The Monitoring Report summarises the Utility Licence Annual Reports submitted each year to the Commission by licensed utilities.
On Friday, 7 June 2019, the Commission released its annual update of regulated retail electricity prices for ActewAGL Retail’s small customers for the financial year beginning 1 July 2019.
On 28 May 2019, the Commission received a terms of reference to determine a price direction for standing offer prices for the supply of electricity to small customers who consume less than 100 MWh of electricity.
On Friday, 31 May 2019, the Commission released its final decision on the Electricity Model and Methodology Review 2018–19. The report sets out the model and methodology the Commission intends to use during the next price investigation to set regulated retail electricity prices from 1 July 2020.

On Thursday 28 February 2019 the Commission released a progress report outlining its draft findings and draft recommendations from monitoring changes in beverage prices and identifying any competition impacts following the introduction of the ACT’s Container Deposit Scheme on 30 June 2018.
On 1 February 2019 the Commission released a technical paper on energy purchase costs which includes an expert report prepared by Frontier Economics.

The Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission is currently undertaking a review of its pricing model and methodology (Review) for the supply of electricity to small customers on ActewAGL Retail’s regulated tariffs.
The Commission has commenced a review of the Consumer Protection Code, an industry code that is applicable to energy and water utilities in the ACT.
