We undertook a review of the methodology we use to determine the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) for Icon Water. The purpose of this review was to ensure that our methodology remains effective, appropriate and reflects the best current and relevant regulatory practices.
The review was established as a reset principle in the 2018 Price Direction for water and sewerage services charges.
Release of Final Report
On 30 April 2021, we released our final report on our methodology for determining Icon Water’s weighted average cost of capital (WACC).

Release of Draft Report

Release of Issues Paper
The Commission is reviewing how it calculates the weighted average cost of capital (WACC). The purpose of the Review is to ensure that Icon Water receives an appropriate return on its prudent and efficient investments in infrastructure used for delivering services.
