The Electricity Feed-in Code is an industry code that sets out practices and standards for the operation of the scheme for feed-in from renewable energy generators to electricity network established under the Electricity Feed-in (Renewable Energy Premium) Act 2008.

Final Decision - Electricity Feed-in Code
On Monday, 4 May 2020, the Commission released its final decision on the Electricity Feed-in Tariff Code update, together with a new Code. The changes made to the Code were primarily to ensure that consumer protections were aligned with the new Consumer Protection Code. Some additional minor amendments were made and are explained in the final report.
The new Code will commence on 1 July 2020.

Electricity Feed-in Code update: Consultation Paper and draft Code released
On Thursday 27 February 2020, the Commission released a Consultation paper and draft Electricity Feed-in Code for public consultation. The primary purpose of the amendments are to ensure that the Code is consistent with the new Consumer Protection Code that will come into effect on 1 July 2020.
A copy of the consultation paper and draft Code are available to download and view below. Copies of the consultation paper and draft Code may also be inspected at the Commission's offices.
Interested parties are invited to make a submission on the draft Code. A submission coversheet is available here. The closing date for submissions is 5 April 2020. Stakeholders may also choose to make a short submission or give feedback via this link.
